Well, it was a busy day. Full of sunk capitol costs, bro time, and friggen BEER MAKING! Jeff arrived around 11:30am, and we headed south in the Saabaru to Larry's brew supply. There, we were lectured by a 60 year old woman who seemed to be the proprietor, but who's name was not Larry. Also, her sun yelled at her for totaling up our purchases with another customer, resulting in a $45.95 over charge on our bill. Once resolved, we punched out of that yawn factory, to head back to Ravenna and begin the brewing process we had been dreaming about all week long.
After a stop at Costco to buy brown sugar and apple juice for our very own Harpoon Hawd Cidah, we began sanitizing the fermenters, and prepping the ingredients. Special props to Brewmaster Jeff for doing the heavy lifting as my back is still slightly tender from surgery on Oct 1st. Everything went smoothly, aside from a minor spill in the kitchen, and nearly 6 gallons each of Hawd Cidah and Prison Shank Pale Ale are brewing in the garage at Team Pro Team's Ravenna office. Our special advisor Jeremy Fried says that the beer should be done fermenting in 2 weeks, the cidah in 3. Life is good.
